All our control solutions have layers of safety inbuilt as standard.
Hold-to-move functionality ensures that no motor, hoist or stage automated scenic machinery can accidentally be triggered without the operators intent.
Furthermore, mushroom button e-stops also allow the user to confidently operate in the knowledge that he or she is able to quickly shut down the system in case of emergency.
Additional e-stop stations may be required around larger venues. Imminent dangers are not always immediately visible to the operator so the system may be shut down by 'watchers' remotely from other locations around the venue.
This is achieved by daisy chaining subsequent e-stops to create layers of added valuable safety.

case study ...riverside tv studios
A four year project has seen the complete redevelopment of Riverside Studios whose cutting edge facilities include television studios. We were approached by Riverside to provide a bespoke system of control for over 50 hoist points. The Drift was the natural selection for this project as it offered a reliable solution to a busy space, where safe & effortless hoist control is paramount. We provided a turnkey solution from design and installation right the way through to inspection & certification.
case study...cinema screen automation
A bespoke automated system for repeat re-positioning of an 18m x 7.5m (circa 700kg) Cinema Screen, from a horizontal ‘false ceiling’ position, to a vertical projection screen position.
The designer wanted to project onto the screen in both its horizontal and vertical positions. This required our control solution to be absolutely exact when moving the screen between positions.
